With graduation approaching, many students and clubs are starting to say goodbye to their beloved seniors. The Wilson choir is no exception to this. The choir’s “Spring Choral Cabaret” took place on Thursday, May 17 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the auditorium, and included several senior solo performances in addition to a senior awards ceremony.

During the senior recognition, Music teacher Lori Williams presented all of the seniors attending with certificates and lanyards to wear at graduation that had their name engraved on the backs. Seniors Samantha Cohen, Felicia Klimpacher, Franny Sewell, Isaiah Hall, and junior Jobel Belisario all performed songs, and senior Serwah Lydia performed a dance.

“The spring concerts are always bittersweet because the seniors are leaving… this year’s group was so talented, and watching them sing their songs was so emotional,” junior Gabby Anifantis, a member of the advanced choir, said.

The choir was joined by several alumni members during the songs “New York Afternoon” and the finale, “Seasons of Love.”
